What's the difference between Pro and Custom?

Pro is the simple all-inclusive plan: a flat monthly price unlocks every feature plus a generous quota of projects, blog posts, storage, and AI tokens. Custom is pure pay-as-you-go on top of a smaller base — you only pay for what you actually use that month, ideal if your usage shape is unusual (lots of one thing, none of another) or you want a hard predictable cap. Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. Cancel and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then drop back to the free tier — your content stays untouched.

Is there AI in the editor?

Yes. We offer AI-assisted resume parsing, project drafting, and inline rewrites — they pull from your existing content so the suggestions sound like you, not like generic copy. AI features are opt-in and your data is never used to train models.

Can I import an existing resume or portfolio?

Drop your resume as a PDF and we'll parse it into structured profile fields you can edit. For project content, paste markdown or use the upload tools — folio's block syntax is plain markdown plus a few sensible extensions, so anything you've already written is portable.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on the Pro and Custom plans. Buy the domain wherever you like (Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, Squarespace / former Google Domains, Porkbun — any registrar works), then add two DNS records: a TXT record to prove ownership and a CNAME (for sub-domains) or A records (for an apex like example.com) to route traffic to folio. The admin panel shows the exact values to paste, with quick-links to each registrar's add-a-record docs and a Verify DNS button that re-checks until both records resolve. Until then, your portfolio still lives on a free subdomain on our platform.

Are my pages indexed by Google?

Yes — published profiles and projects render as proper static-feeling pages with metadata, OpenGraph tags, and canonical URLs. You can mark individual projects as unlisted if you want a shareable link without search visibility.

Who owns the content I publish?

Accepted Answer

You do. We get the limited license needed to host and display it on the platform, and that's it. We don't claim ownership, we don't reuse it, and we don't train models on it. See the Terms for the exact wording.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Export your content from the admin panel any time, or delete your account in one click — that removes your profile, projects, and uploads. Email us if you need a full archive in a specific format and we'll handle it.
